Energy Performance Certificates

Due to the **February invasion of 2022**, many nations found themselves in energy crises and had to improvise on solutions. In response, a new law has been passed in both the United States and the European Union. This law forces property owners to take action and improve the energy rating of their properties to save energy resources.

In the European Union, this new law aims to renovate at least 15% of the least efficient homes** by 1 January 2027. By that date, all commercial or public buildings must reach at least class "F" on the EU's energy efficiency scale and then class "E" by 1 January 2030. The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EU/2010/31) and the Energy Efficiency Directive (EU/2023/1791), revised in 2023, promote policies that will help boost the energy performance of buildings.

In the United States, the UK, Canada, and more countries that are joining the list, commercial properties must hold a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E or above. If you are purchasing a whole vacant commercial property, it simply needs to have a valid EPC certificate with no minimum rating requirement.

These measures are essential for reducing energy consumption, improving efficiency, and mitigating the impact of energy crises on both local and global levels.

Installers qualifications

We seek independent individuals and small businesses to become installers for the new energy-saving innovation which helps improve energy efficiency in private properties & public buildings.

Before you get too excited and berserk about my energy-saving innovation, possible money-making ideas, and job opportunities, you can only install this innovation in buildings with an attic. 

No two jobs are the same. 

Based on my (Mr Butler's) background, an experienced woodworker is an ideal installer as many installations might require additional solutions to make the energy-saving innovation provide 100% efficiency to help reduce energy consumption. That is where your woodworking experience kicks in!

Installers Qualifications

While there are no specific qualifications or requirements to become an installer, if you've worked in carpentry or as a woodworker for over five years, your experience will further enhance your qualifications.

To stand out professionally, I recommend that you have the following qualifications/experience:

• Ability to provide recommendations, solve uninspected situations and make decisions on the spot at the job site
• Ability to work independently
• Five years of experience in carpentry, woodworking, Etc.
• Experience with building insulation materials and techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
